 ennifer gratefully receives her wisdom from all her directions of study including the Usui-System of Reiki, Leslie-Temple Thurston, Adyashanti, Jack Kornfield, Mia Runanin, Donna Gaus, Marti Foster, Maya Tiwari, Pratima Raichur, Paul Pitchford, Anodea Judith, Dianne Stein, Dr. Christanne Northrup, Carol Fitzgerald, Donna Eden, Jan Spiller, Vasant Lad. She also has deep gratitude to her mother, Gail for introducing and instilling in her the abundance, wisdom and spirits of mother earth from infancy. Jennifer's spiritual work draws on the wisdom of Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianty, Sufism and Gaia Wisdom.
She is a Master-level practitioner & teacher of the Usui system of Reiki, receiving her 1st and 2nd level attunements in 2002 and 2003 from Donna Gaus, Certified Reiki Master and founder of the Reiki Clinic of Menlo Park. In 2006 she received her Master Level attunements from Reiki Master Mia Runanin in Marin. In 2003 she received the Medicine Buddha Initiation in a retreat and ceremony from Khenpo Sonam Rinpoche, Lama from Pema Osel Ling, Tibetan Buddhist Retreat Center.
In 2004 she received extensive training in anatomy, physiology, Swedish, Shiatsu and Lymphatic techniques through programs at the World School of Massage in San Francisco and The Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto.
Jennifer studied Energy Medicine with Donna Eden at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur in 2004. Applying these energy testing techniques to her Reiki and bodywork sessions, allows her to effectively identify the cause of a client’s imbalance.
In 2003-04 Jennifer studied Healing Meditation with spiritual teacher Leslie Temple-Thurston and now leads private clients and groups through a series of visualizations and meditation to strengthen their energetic core. Jennifer has held meditation classes and workshops related to balancing and strengthening energy for over 5 years in San Francisco including Yoga Tree, It's Yoga for Kids, Amrita Yoga, Yoga of Sausalito and the San Francisco Buddhist Center.
Jennifer is engaged in study at the Foundation for Spiritual Development in San Rafael to cultivate techniques used for Intuitive Readings.
Jennifer has been invited as a regular Guest Speaker to the massage therapy program at Bryman College in San Francisco. She has also held group workshops at various yoga studios and Buddhist centers. In her lectures she speaks about the importance of raising core energy, teaches students how to identify energy centers and leads them through a specialized healing meditation.
Jennifer has volunteered her work at Maitri, the Immune Enhancement Project, The Marine Mammal Center and has held healing workshops for women who have been victims of domestic violence.
Living in San Rafael, Jennifer spends her free time playing in the grace of the Marin County hills, dancing, practicing yoga, writing poetry, sunning at the beach and sharing a good meal and the ridiculous with friends. |
